Course Description

In this introductory class on using the router in woodworking, you will learn the basics of operating a router and its various applications in woodworking projects. The class will cover topics such as router setup, safety precautions, and different types of router bits. You will also learn how to create decorative edges, make precise cuts, and perform joinery using a router. The instructor will guide you through hands-on exercises to practice these techniques and build your confidence in using a router for woodworking.

Know Before You Go

  • Wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes.
  • Long hair needs to be tied back.
  • Don’t wear anything too flowy like sleeves or hems that could get caught in the machine.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the underlying expenses and prep time involved with our classes, Mann Tool does not provide refunds or exchanges for cancellations that occur within 10 days of the scheduled event. Participants who give more than 10 days’ notice will receive a full refund.

Each class has a minimum number of participants required for the class to be held. Mann Tool reserves the right to cancel a class up to 48 hours prior to its scheduled time if the minimum enrollment has not been met. In this case, the participants have the choice of a full refund or a credit towards the enrollment costs for a future class.
